FAQs
What types of pianos do you move?
Our certified piano movers safely transport a wide variety of pianos, including upright pianos, baby grand pianos, grand pianos, console pianos, studio pianos, and digital pianos. We use specialized equipment and proven techniques to protect your instrument throughout the move.
Why should I hire certified piano movers instead of a standard moving company?
Pianos are extremely heavy, delicate, and valuable instruments that require specialized knowledge and equipment. Our certified piano movers are trained to handle the unique challenges of piano moving, helping protect both your instrument and your home from damage during transport.
Can you move a piano up or down stairs?
Yes. Our experienced team regularly moves pianos through stairways, tight hallways, and other challenging spaces. Before moving day, we’ll evaluate the layout and determine the safest method for transporting your piano.
Do you recommend tuning my piano after the move?
Yes. Even when handled with the utmost care, changes in temperature, humidity, and movement can affect a piano’s tuning. We generally recommend allowing the piano to acclimate to its new environment for a few weeks before having it professionally tuned.
Can you move my piano as part of a larger household move?
Absolutely. Whether you’re relocating a single piano or moving your entire home, our team can include professional piano moving as part of your complete residential moving service. This allows you to work with one trusted company for your entire move.
Reviews
I cannot express with words how amazing they are. We had a last minute emergency in which we could reserve the loading dock for 2 hours and they were able to accommodate by sending more moving crew to make it possible. Special thanks to Jorge Guerra and his crew for making the move super efficient! They made sure all the furnitures were fully wrapped for protection, asked us where each boxes / furnitures go and did a final walk through to make sure everything is good to go. I would highly recommend this company to everyone and would be working with them in the future
